Its been a long time!! Out of the slumber! Visited the Banerghatta National Park in Bangalore and went in the safari. It was an awesome experience. Saw a tiger so close. It was literally the tiger's face on the outside, the car's window, and me on the inside!! And the elephants were so cute, especially the baby elephants. They were playing, talking with each other. I would love to visit the place again and take the open jeep safari. Here are some of the photos from the National park.
An attempt to tell a story through my camera and lens. It's all about the places I travel to and the experiences my camera and I have.

YN 560 Flash - My brand new camera gear!
For a photographer, gears are everything. And we browse more about the camera and camera accessories than anything else. Being an amateur photographer, i dont really have a lot of gears. I have two lenses, a tripod with a camera. That's it!
I have been wanting to buy a new flash and increase my camera gear collection! And after a few searches and convincing myself that i will use it frequently, i bought a new flash recently.
The Yongnuo flash is less expensive compared to the Nikon or Canon versions and is pretty good. Especially for an amateur photographer, spending thousands of rupees on a flash isn't a great idea! This YN 560 III is perfect for me. I tried my hand at the flash, and i am quite happy with the result!
Here are some shots with my first ever try with flash.
There is a lot to flashes and i cant wait to experiment more!!

Malsej Ghat
Malsej Ghat is a scenic mountain
pass in western ghats, 150 km from Mumbai. It is wonderful for a weekend getaway
from Mumbai and Pune. The lush green scenery is especially attractive during
the monsoon season.
The cloud-laden mountains and
waterfalls provides a sort of calm and peace to the minds. It gives a sense of
belongingness with the nature, away from the busy life of Mumbai. Malsej Ghat
is a haven for every photographer, with multitude of birds and animals.
Here are some scenic photos of malsej ghat that I tried to capture.

Kala Ghoda Art Festival - Feb 7-15, 2015
Kala Ghoda Art Festival is one of the city's main attractions in the month of February every year. People not only from Mumbai, but from all over the world come to feast their eyes and intellect with the contemporary art forms in Kala Ghoda Art Festival.
For those who
are curious about the name ‘Kala Ghoda’. It is traced to the old equestrian
statue of King Edward VII, placed at the center of the large node on the old
Esplanade Road. Though the statue has been removed from the site, the name of
this Colonial era remnant remains, as a compelling memory of the history and
heritage of South Bombay.
Here are some of the art forms in this year's Kala Ghoda Art Festival.
The Contrapuntal - Be in touch with nature
The Crow - Mukti
Dustbin Pole (towards Swachh Bharat initiative)
The last drop - Save Water
The Spirit of India - Textile Industry
The Clockweb - Don't be a slave to time
The Spirit of Womanhood
